Journey Continues…

Sunday 26th July.  We broke bread at Grassy Park. There was also the opportunity to minister God’s word to the saints there.

The evening was spent in the Gospel Meeting at Hebron – Bellville. Good being there and met several persons from the earlier visit The meeting was well attended and the Lord was glorified in blessing.

Monday 27th July saw us in the ministry at Portlands – Mitchell’s Plain. This is the first assembly I visited and conducted a Gospel crusade in Cape Town years ago.   Some members had moved on but the attendance was good and was followed by a time of fellowship.

Tuesday 28th Morning. What an experience as all bags were loaded into a cute trailer and Gerald Ursula, Evie and I left Grassy Park for Montague. The drive was scenic, fellowship was sweet. I even managed an occasional nap! With Bartman family, Riversdale
Upon arrival in Montaque we had the reward of a relaxing soak in the renowned Montague warm bath. This was followed by a meal and fellowship with Ottie & Ruth Jass and family before ministering to saints in Montague (they were joined by several from Robinson). We spent that night in Montaque and next day took an adventurous tractor ride up the mountains. John Bartman from Riversdale joined us with a larger vehicle and we said good bye to Gerald who returned to Cape Town with the trailer.
Wednesday  29th. Our hosts John and Priscilla Bartman with daughter were there usual affable self. full of energy and hospitality. They were to join us on the next leg of the trip which would take us to Port Elizabeth. But first ministry at the Riversdale Gospel hall. This assembly holds a special place in my heart as I recalled them meeting in a small rented building years ago and with faith and determination, they were able to construct the lovely building they now have. More than that, the meeting continues to grow. They need our prayers and encouragement.
