On Tuesday 4th August we flew from Port Elizabeth to Livingstone via Johannesburg. We were met by Bro. Simon Mubanga and two other brothers who took us to Roy Sam Guest Accommodation. Our party, John & Priscilla Bartman, Ursula Maasdorp, Evie and me were delighted to meet the few local brethren in Livingstone.

One of the highlights was a visit to Kazungula where we took part in the dedication

of a new assembly. The believers presently meet in rented premesis but have acquired land and are looking to the lord for funds to erect a building. This area is a busy border that links Zambia directly or indirectly with Botswana, Zimbabwe and Namibia.

With the expected population growth, this growing assembly could be well placed for the future. Two other assemblies were visited for ministry of the word.

Evie was particularly interested in the children as school was in session and wasted no time to get involved is some aspects of their work. These children are to be admired for their interest in learning under the very difficult circumstances that prevail. We pray that many of them will come to know christ as saviour as a result of the ministry that will take place there. Some will plant, others water but God gives the increase no matter how barren the land!
