Conference Group
The conference commenced on the evening of Sunday 9th August concluded on Friday 14th.
The theme was “Towards a Life of Integrity”. Plenary sessions were by Gershom Chioni, Felix Muchimba, George Verwer and yours truly. Each paper was followed by open discussion.
I was privileged to speak on Integrity in the Family on Tuesday and on Integrity in Ministry on Wednesday.

The session on Integrity in the Family was obviously welcomed. Many commented that marriage and family related matters are rarely brought up in the church arena. I was gratified by learning a great deal as it relates to the African situation.
Following the session on Integrity in Ministry there was a call for believers to forgive one another and abandon destructive issues from the past. The Lord was honoured as more than 75% of those present responded positively to the call for prayer and re dedication lead by Bro. Simon Mubanga.
I was greatly impressed by the compelling presentation by the youth; “The Issues We Face”. I believe that to ignore our young people will be sounding a death knell in many of our assemblies.
